Had you pushed it a little too far? Maybe...but did you regret it? Absolutely not. Not when your actions had brought you exactly where you wanted to be. In Rafe's bed, his movements harsh and yet somehow passionate.

The two of you had been at some party on the beach, but Rafe wasn't paying that much attention to you, instead he was off with Topper and Kelce, as always, and they were surrounded by a group of giggling girls, everything about them fake, down to the way they pushed their chests out when breathing. This seemed to always happen, you went to a party, for Rafe, with Rafe, and then you always ended up either silently sat beside him while he talked shit with Toppe and Kelce, or left to your own devices, watching him let the gaggles of girls practically sit in his lap, their hands running up his arms or chest as they laughed at something he said that probably wasn't even that funny.

You had finally had enough though and so you had sought to act out in a way that would truly infuriate Rafe. Flirt with JJ Maybank. You never really understood what his issue with the Pogues was, but you always out it down to some sort of twisted jealousy at the fact they had real friends, real connection when all he had was a couple of guys younger than him that followed him like he was a shepard and them the sheep. Not that he'd ever admit that of course, but you know his hatred wasn't just down to their social standing like he made it out to be, especially not after his sister became one of the Pogues. No, you knew he probably just felt lonely and presented it as hatred due to some sort of embarrassment about his feelings.

But you'd never hated the Pogues, in fact you quite liked them, and had hung out with them at a few parties before. While you were technically a Kook, your family had become pretty much broke, loosing their financial stability after a incident involving court, so you were pretty much someone of Pogue standing, money wise, who was still living in the grotesquely overpriced house that your family had moved into so many years ago and refused to sell, your parents not wanting to diminish themselves by moving off of Figure Eight and onto The Cut.

So you felt full of confidence as you sauntered over to the group and sat so close to JJ you were practically on him, he just greeted you with a smile and swung his arm over your shoulder, passing you a beer. It must have been at least twenty minutes before your phone vibrated with a text from Rafe that simply read, 'where the fuck are you.'

Your lips had only quirked up in response and you'd pushed your phone out so that you could get a picture of you and JJ sat together, the both of you smiling at the camera. You had been quick to upload it to your story on instagram, with his user tagged and a white heart emoji besides it. Rafe's response to it came through almost instantly, reading, 'yeah, I don't think so.'

And before you knew it he was walking over to you, his pace hurried and his feet heavy on the sand, "C'mon, we're leaving." His voice had come, firm and infuriated.

"Mm, I dunno, I quire like it here," you'd slyly answered, leaning further into JJ who you heard quietly chuckle the sound echoing through his bottle as he brought his beer up to his lips.

Rafe scoffed a laugh, a humourless one at that, "uh, yeah, I don't fuckin' think so, c'mon, get your ass up an' get yourself on my bike."

And that's how you'd ended up here, Rafe's hand wrapped around your throat, the other gripping on of your hips so hard you were sure the signet ring on his finger would leave an imprint on your skin like a brand. There was a pillow tucked under your arched back and Rafe was slotted between your widely parted thighs, his hips rolling to push himself into you, each thrust somewhat harsh while being deeper inside of you than you can ever remember him being. You were seeing star at this point, he'd already pulled one rather intense orgasm out of you the he'd eaten you out like a starving man yet acted like he hated you at the same time. But now, your hands were on his back, feeling his muscles tense with each movement of his hips, your nails digging into his skin, creating crescent moons that would likely remain there until the next day.

"Think he can make y'feel like this, huh?" Rafe asked darkly, his lips pressed against your ear as his hand tightened ever so slightly on your throat, a soft moan escaped you in response, "hey, answer the fuckin', question, aight?"

All you could muster was the shake of your head followed by a "no," so quiet Rafe would have missed it had he not been listening intently for an answer from you, pulling back so he could rest his damp forehead against your own. "And who can, huh? Who's the one that makes y'feel this good, hm?"

"Y-you, 's just you, Rafe." you panted, the words coming out in a breathy whisper as your eyes squinted shut when he hit a particular spot inside of you.

You felt his breath against your face as he chuckled, "Yeah, 's me, not JJ, not anyone else. Me. You'd do best t'fuckin remember that." He answered, his tone sounding somewhat mean, which made sense to you when he suddenly stopped his thrusts and pulled out of you, his hand slipping off of your throat, casing your eyes to shoot open.

"Rafe?" you had asked softly, wondering what had happened, why he had stopped when you were so close to finishing. He looked down at you with a cruel glint in his eye, "What, y'think 'm gonna let you cum after y'pulled that shit? Nah. Y'can wait till tomorrow an if y'good, maybe I'll help y'out when we wake up, yeah?"

You looked at him wide eyed, your jaw dropping as he bent down to press a kiss to your forehead before getting up to go in the shower, leaving you on his bed, aching and unsatisfied.

Ahhh, well, welcome! 💖🥰🫂 We’re so glad to have you here! I want to thank you for reaching out and asking 💕 I always appreciate asks! Even when they’re not related to my fics.

TOPP is definitely still in the works! And because you asked so nicely and cared to inquire, I feel like I owe it to all of you all to post a snippet of the next chapter! 🙌🏻 Because I definitely realize and know how long you guys have been waiting! I’ll post the snippet and then I also can give you an update about the fic/where I’m at, at the bottom.

Snippet of Ch.2:

"Why wouldn't you just tell us?!" Soap grits out, his voice taking on a dark tone as he turns his once sky blue, now stormy, eyes on you. "Do you realize what position you've gone and put us in?"

“Yeah, and what position’s that?” You engage, turning to square off against Johnny, the both of you only a foot apart since you’d been standing next to each other in line.

You’re met with a low warning growl, the motion of his hand balling up into a fist at his side not being missed by your peripheral vision. Despite your defiance not being unusual within the team, your designation now, is known, and an Omega standing up to an Alpha? Not taken kindly upon. Nor is it taken lightly. Regardless, they’re not your Alphas, and that means they have no claim over what you do or say. And while there’s always the risk of an Alpha disciplining an unruly, unclaimed Omega, you’re willing to take it.

"It's your fault, really," Ghost eggs on, making everyone whip their heads in his direction.

So the reason why I haven’t posted the chapter yet is for a few reasons 💕 One, from a writing standpoint this one is quite longer, and I want it to be amazing for you guys! When I was writing the first chapter I had a friend to help me with the dialogue (which is why I feel I really struggle) and rn I don’t, so I think I’ve been nervous about that a bit.

But also, because in my real life there’s been a lot of major changes recently. In September I found out that I have CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) which, is basically like mold sickness but, like, permanent. So I’ve been trying to find somewhere safe to move/detox from the mold w meds bc my body can’t on its own, and I’m actually just finally moving into my new apartment on Sunday! 💖🙌🏻 so that’s cool.

Besides that, I also got diagnosed with, like, idk, I guess it’s a disability, technically, and the fact that I’ve been struggling my whole life with it but never knew has been… kind of mind blowing tbh? Like I haven’t told anyone except one person about it—not even my best friends yet—bc it’s been a lot to work through since… I guess I’ve technically had this my whole life but only now know at 25? 😅🤯

So it’s been a lot of working on my health both physically, mentally, and with moving, my family, Christmas coming up, and trying to find a job/support myself even day-to-day, it’s been kind of taxing tbh balancing everything. And that’s not even mentioning the little social life I do have 😅😭🙈 So while I know it’s frustrating waiting, and I’m sorry that it’s taken so long, I do want to be open and tell you guys what’s going on behind the scenes 💕 Granted, I know not everyone necessarily cares, and that’s okay! If you did read all this, though, I appreciate you and hope you have an amazing day!

Your ask, though, Nonnie definitely is inspiring me to sit down and really finish the next two chapters bc I have both laid out- one nearly finished, the other will be shorter (I think?) because of the plot point it’s mostly about 💕 I will say though, too, it does make me a bit anxious not having had a whole plan for this fic unlike the others which I’ve sort of started writing with a whole plot in mind 😂🙈💖 so I just hope you guys will continue to love it ask much as you’ve loved the first chapter! I genuinely have never received as much love on a work than that one chapter, alone! So I am truly grateful 💖

    “Just give me a hint, (Y/n)!”

     “Shayne, I told you, you’re just going to have to wait,” you laughed, squeezing his hand.

     He put his free hand inside the pocket of his jeans, sighing.

     He had been at this for the whole of what was supposed to a romantic walk through the park. Ever since you had told him you knew what you were going to wear for the annual Halloween party you’d be attending together, he wouldn’t let it go. You had told him multiple times that it was a surprise, but he was persistent. 

     You looked up at the trees and their leaves in shades of orange and pale red as a few leaves from the tree closest to you floated down to where you and Shayne were walking, one brushing the front of Shayne’s sweater before falling gently to the ground. 

     “Fine,” he pouted, “Don’t tell me.” 

     “Maybe I won’t,” you said, rubbing your arms with your hands to keep them warm. Ok, you admitted to yourself, Short sleeves were a bad idea.

     Shayne took his hand from yours, wrapping his arm around your shoulders. You leaned in to his side, grateful for the warmth of him as the light breeze blew your hair away from your face.

     “What do you say we go get some coffee? My treat,” he said, nodding his head towards the coffee shop on the other side of the road.

     “Sounds warm,” you nodded, changing directions. He stopped walking, standing in front of you.

     “…Only if you tell me what you’re wearing for Halloween.”

     “You’re impossible,” you shoved at him, continuing to walk in the direction of the coffee shop. 

     He jogged to keep up with you, “Seems like a fair trade to me!”

     You continued walking, turning backwards to raise an eyebrow at him, “Then I guess I can’t order a pumpkin spice latte for you this time.”

     You may have said that a little louder than necessary and a few people nearby looked up at you and Shayne 

     “They’re delicious and the perfect fall treat!” He defended enthusiastically, looking around and throwing his hands up in defeat.

     You giggled, your fingers on the door handle. “You were saying?” 

     “I’ll get us a table.”

     “Are you ready?” Shayne called impatiently from the other room. He had waited—or rather, you had made him wait—for nearly two weeks to see what your Halloween costume was. Seeing as it was finally the day of the party, and you had no other choice, you relented and had promised to show him your outfit. 

     “Almost,” you called back, rolling your eyes in amusement. “Are you?”

     He laughed. “Should I be scared?” 

     “Oh definitely,” you said, holding back laughter yourself, “I’m hideous.”

     You glanced at your outfit in the mirror. In the weeks since you’d had the idea for your costume this year, you had snuck one of Shayne’s most worn t-shirts out of his closet and you now wore it along with a cheap, short blonde wig you ordered online. 

     Ok, so maybe you didn’t look exactly like Shayne, but it was what you were going for at least. The only thing was, you didn’t have any of his pants readily available and his shirt was long enough on you that you had decided to just…not wear any. That part, you thought, a grin forming on your face, Shayne deserved.

     You stepped out of your room and walked down the hall to the living room where Shayne sat, book in hand, waiting for you to show him your costume. 

     You gazed at the Halloween decorations adorning your living room. You and Shayne kind of went all out when it came to this holiday. Ghosts and pumpkins—and this one paining of a witch that you swore was always watching you—covered every available space. You couldn’t help but smile at the sheer amount of it all. 

     You took a few more steps toward the front room and Shayne caught sight of you, his eyes widening as he took in you…well, him.

     “Damn, (Y/n),” he said, running a hand through his hair as he looked you up and down. 

     “Well, what do you think?” You asked, spinning around to give him the full affect.        

     “I think you look sexier as me than I ever have.”

     You let out a laugh, stepping closer to him.

     “Is it weird if I really want to kiss me right now?” He took a step towards you too, closing the distance. 

     “Not really, I want to kiss you too,” you teased, letting him pull you in by your waist. 

     “That,” he said looking at your costume again before bringing his lips to yours, “was definitely worth the wait.”

     You tugged at the t-shirt, drawing Shayne’s gaze to the movement of the fabric.

     “Although I don’t know how I feel about having no pants on.”

     “I thought you said it was sexy?”

     “Exactly.” 

     He laughed and you couldn’t help but laugh too, which turned into a surprised shriek as he picked you up before setting you down on the couch where he had been sitting. He sat down next to you and you threw your legs over his, leaning against him as he wrapped his arms around you and  kissed you again.

     You heard your phone buzz multiple times, interrupting your moment as you figured you should check it. 

     Standing up abruptly you said,“Right, the Halloween party! Court just texted,” you turned to Shayne, “and you still don’t have a costume.”

     He brought his hand to the back of his neck, “I didn’t plan anything, I just figured you looked good enough for the both of us so—” He shrugged.

     “Not gonna happen,” you stated, grabbing his hand and pulling him up from the couch.” You looked at him ominously, “Besides, I already have a costume planned for you.”

     “(Y/n), you’re scaring me,” Shayne said, taking in the look on your face. 

     “It’s nothing extravagant,” you said, “But you are going to need one of my dresses so let’s go.”

     “(Y/n)—” Shayne started as you tried to drag him down the hall.

     “Please,” you looked up at him, “for me?”

     He stood, as if thinking for a moment, and then sighed, smiling. “Only because I love you.”

     You kissed him quickly, and then ran down the hall, in a hurry to get his Halloween costume ready. You couldn’t wait to see the looks on everyone’s faces—including Shayne’s.

      “But I’m not wearing anything with ruffles!”

      “Of course not,” you called down the hallway, “that wouldn’t match with your wig.”

      “My what?”
